I so wanted to crochet one of these from the first moment I saw one: so here it is, my very own crochet beanie or slouchy hat with cat ears, Hookloopsarah's style! How do you like it? Find it also in my shop: cat

Here is another picture of my crocheted carpet in Bauhaus style, sent by the customer who was so kind to show me how it looked in the room it was intended for. Nice, isn't it? And look at my crochet dice with name letters hanging on the wall, too. :) Very proud and happy with the result.

Back in October this year I was contacted by a customer who asked me for an incredibly exciting but challenging made-to-order project, i.e. the reproduction with crochet of an antique woven carpet by Bauhaus artist Benita Koch-Otte. I was lucky enough that the customer was equally enthusiastic and cooperated actively throughout the whole project with pieces of advice and directions. The carpet is 150x90 cm, it's in cotton and it took me about 1 month to complete it. The customer received it and was very happy with it. :) Here's the end result (hope I will have better pictures to show soon!).

Sometimes, when I go out with my baby girl, she asks me if she can take her own purse, since I am always carrying my bag with me. She wants to play grown-up, you see? It's what they do at this age. And I always say yes, because this small bag I created for her is extremely comfortable, it has a closing zip and I know she won't lose it or lose what's inside. So this is Alice's crochet owl purse...now in my shop as custom order: owl

I am not happy if I don't keep on experimenting with new techniques... Have you ever heard of "arm knitting"? Yes, the words say it all: you can create beautiful things with just your bare arms, no needles nor hooks are required! I went crazy about this technique as soon as I discovered it, and now here you are: my first arm knit cowl in wool...in my shop, of course ;)armknitting

Hi everyone out there: I'm back!! I have been so busy with a huge and complicated project lately (watch out for future pics!) so I wanted to get back to normal and crochet something very simple and just plain lovely. So here you are: a soft and warm crochet cowl or neckwarmer for all, ideal for Christmas and the wintertime. cowl

Funny crochet hats with animal forms, ears and so on are pretty stylish at the moment... and practical, too! They perfectly cover ears, mouth and neck, and the kids love them! Here's a pig crochet balaclava...in my shop. passamontagna

Do you know what "freeform crochet" is? It is a pattern-free way of crocheting, a totally free and creative way of crocheting "as you go", simply putting colours, forms, stitches together in the way you like best. Objects resulting from this technique are an example of just how flexible crochet can be. Here is my first freeform jewel, a cotton bracelet in pastel colours (as usual, in my shop):bracelet

So I finally did it! After the incredible success of this spiral crocheted in Tunisian stitch, I finally decided to make a simple table placemat out of it (the yarn and the pattern are too beautiful to create something complicated) and - most of all - I finally created the PATTERN for it, too! You can find it here: SPIRAL PATTERN HERE. Enjoy!!

Take a look at my latest scarf: no, it's not knitted! It's crocheted! This is the special knit stitch done with Tunisian crochet technique. I love working with Tunisian crochet, I always have to go back to it from time to time, so relaxing and such a beautiful effect! How do you like it? sciarpa

I had actually no idea this project would end up becoming a bag, when I first started working on it...but here it is! I think I took the right decision. It is made in cotton, using the loop stitch and tenuous pastel colours, worked simmetrically, so as to have two different sides. It is very comfortable as everyday bag! bag

It is such a great feeling when a delivery arrives smoothly and, most of all, when you receive such an amazing feedback on your work! This is a small work I attached to the packet as a gift to my lovely customer (A is the initial of her name), hope she liked it. Thank you again!

Hi everyone! Back from the holidays, but don't think I was simply relaxing in the sun doing nothing, no no. I brought my hooks on holiday with me and I must say I was pretty inspired this summer (apart from having a few sales, which always helps... ;-) ). So here I am updating my blog. What follows is a set of 2 crochet headrest cloths I made for my parents, who asked for something pretty to put on their new sofa and couch. So I came up with this, and they were pretty satisfied, at last. What do you think? To be bought in my shop as a made to order item: set
